#Pitti93 has been the 10th edition that GWD attended (and to think that everything started here), somehow we can’t believe it yet.
Since #Pitti92 we’ve slightly changed our approach to the fair, trying to be more relaxed, enjoying the amazing Florence, meeting up with friends from all over the world, discovering new brands, strenghtening actual GWD business relationships and building new ones.


Our #Pitti93 had an earlier start, as in November we travelled to Florence to meet with Mr. Massimiliano Donnarumma (taylor of Otto Marchesi Sartoriale) to take the measurements and choose the fabrics for Fabrizio Oriani’s bespoke suit & coat.

Stay at Hotel Lungarno

For the second edition in a row we partnered with one of the most iconic hotel in Florence, namely Hotel Lungarno part of the Lungarno Collection, and formerly GWD second home in Florence.

Hotel Lungarno, GWD’s beloved luxury 5 star hotel in Florence renowned for its chic, nautical interiors, will undoubtedly maintain its signature blue, a reflection of the River Arno over which it seems to lightly float.

The property’s marvelous location with its private terraces, breakfast room, and Michelin-starred restaurant all sitting out over Florence’s aquatic lung, is polished ‘new’ once again. Instead of 78 rooms, they now have 68 spacious rooms and luxury suites, 40 of which have an enchanting view of the River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio.

Lungarno‘ staff cuddled GWD a lot and we experienced breakfast in bed, aperitivo at Picteau Lounge and sumptuos dinner at Borgo San Jacopo Michelin starred restaurant of the hotel.

Once again Mr. Fabrizio Oriani, Founder & Creative Director of GWD styled three outfits to bring you another bunch of #StyledByGWD inspiration!

Day 1

DAY 1 outfit was about styling cream and brown palette.

Day 2

DAY 2 outfit was the result of November prologue with a bespoke suit and coat by OttoMarchesi Sartoriale.

Day 3

Day 3 is as a tradition a very sporty casual day for GWD, Mr. Fabrizio styled a forest green corduroy work jacket by Sabba 1963 x Gavetta, with a blue turtleneck sweater, grey wool trousers and Paraboot shoes.
