Welcome back FAM and today we are ready to tell GWD experience at recent Pitti 101.
This latest edition took place in the midst of the fourth wave of Covid pandemic thus unfortunately a lot of foreing visitors weren’t able to join it.
Despite the current difficult sanitary situation, we want to underline how safety procedures have been very strictly applied and visitors well behaved too.
We believe this edition must have taken place and we are happy that Pitti Immagine confirmed it; we are in a new phase where the majority of the population got the vaccination and whilst the virus is still among us, we must learn to live with it.
Stay at Hotel Lungarno
As a tradition once again we partnered with one of the most iconic hotel in Florence, Hotel Lungarno part of the Lungarno Collection, and GWD second home in Florence.
The Hotel Staff, the managing director, the marketing and PR team could not be more gentle, caring and professional!
Hotel Lungarno, GWD’s beloved luxury 5 star hotel in Florence renowned for its chic, nautical interiors, will undoubtedly maintain its signature blue, a reflection of the River Arno over which it seems to lightly float.
The property’s marvelous location with its private terraces, breakfast room, and Michelin-starred restaurant all sitting out over Florence’s aquatic lung, is polished ‘new’ once again.
For us it’s like coming home…
Instead of 78 rooms, they now have 68 spacious rooms and luxury suites, 40 of which have an enchanting view of the River Arno and the Ponte Vecchio.
We love to have our eggs in the morning at Picteau Lounge.
