Villa La Cicala
During the three-day stay Costa Estate welcomed and made GWD feel at home.
Costa Estate idea of welcoming guests finds its foundation in the most orginal concepts of hospitality.
As handed down by the ancients, for them, guests are sacred as is the bond which is created between those who offer hospitality and those who receive it which is a bond destined to last throughout time.

In particular Villa La Cicala was born from the dream to transform an eighteenth century farmhouse into a modern villa that respects our heritage while offering guests refined Italian style and modern conveniences, including an outdoor swimming pool.
The villa is an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by a 3500 square meter rural park planted with fruit and olive trees and with beautiful flowers that bloom in every season.
GWD relaxed by the swimming pool, and dream listening to the peaceful song of the cicada.
Villa La Cicala is a big mansion made of four bedrooms, four bathrooms, one kitchen, one patio facing the swimming pool, one tavern, one living room and one play room with a vintage italian pool table.
Ride the Audi R8 Spyder
The Audi R8 Spyder is a sleek and powerful baby, it takes its supercar status to the next level. The powerhouse 540-hp V10 engine puts out 398 lb-ft of torque and adds balance through its mid-engine drivetrain design.
From 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds with a top speed 328 km/h.
Discovering Azienda Agricola Zangani
GWD had the pleasure to discover one of the local excellences, namely Azienda Agricola Zangani which produces wine and olive oils.
The family Zangani, original of the ancient village of Ponzano, location of the municipality of Santo Stefano Magra (Province of La Spezia) with an enviable exposure which offers a breathtaking view over the valley of the river Magra, started farming in area since 19th century.
Today, with renewed passion, the Farm Zangani has reconstituted the prestigious agricultural fund of Mortedo, old farm already administered by the Malaspina family and at a later bought by Cav. Alberto Fabbricotti, tycoon in nearby Carrara marble, who wanted it for the reputation of agricultural products grown, especially wine and oil. Over the years have added other farms such as: Luisito, the Boceda, Montale, the Fontolo, the Piana, and the Carbonin, and others, everyone already voted for traditional oil production from old olive trees and the cultivation of vines.
The new vitality of the Zangani family on agricultural activity of the farm exalts the old vocation of this land, which enjoy an enviable microclimate from the hills and the nearby sea areas.
Using only organic materials produced on farms owned and carefully controlling every stage of production, the Farm Zangani offers typical products of high quality and safe genuineness confirming the link with the territory and a long agricultural tradition.
Sailing Experience with Scuola di Mare Santa Teresa
What is a super way to celebrate Charley‘s birthday?
A day off to the sea, sailing with a sleek boat (named Stella Filante) discovering the Golfo dei Poeti together with Ugo head of Scuola di Mare Santa Teresa, a sailing school facility based in Santa Teresa (fraction of Lerici).
Scuola di Mare Santa Teresa is the perfect place to unleash your passion for the sea; a corner of the sea where you can bring to the practice of sailing, learning to sail on modern boats and safe but also practising water sports such as sea kayaking, SUP, windsurfing, scuba diving or fishing.
Furthermore Scuola di Mare Santa Teresa offers hotel facilities, where some rooms have an enchanting sea view.
We closed this amazing day with a bang, having a succulent sea food based dinner in front of the sea.
